If you missed Dermveda's Skincare Wellness Fair in Sacramento this last weekend, you definitely don't want to miss it again next year. Venita Sivamani and her team at Dermveda put on quite the affair.
Dermveda started off the week with an Integrative Skincare Conference for doctors and other health professionals. Practitioners flew in from all over the world - as far as Australia, to be educated on natural skincare and healing practices. Why was this skincare conference such a big deal? It was the first of its kind worldwide!
Saturday wrapped up the conference and lead into a Skincare Fair that featured a multitude of organic, gluten-free and natural products and services. Even with as much research as I put in, I was introduced to several new products that I can't wait to try out. I was also lucky enough to meet and get to know Judy Brooks and Roy Walkenhorst - creators of Healing Quest TV and Radio Show on KFBK newsradio, 93.1FM and am1530. They introduce their listeners to all kinds of natural health practices, as well as doctors and health professionals doing big things. It looks like I will be on a future program, so make sure to tune in! Judy and Roy are amazing people really making a difference and have been doing so for over 25 years. I just love meeting people who are changing the world!
Triumph Over Health had a huge response at the Fair, with almost every attendee that walked by the booth signing up for the Living Healthy Newsletter. The attendees were both young, and not so young and all were interested in elevating their health. I was educating all those that visited the booth how to visually see whether or not their skin was open for detoxification. This is important to know because your skin is your largest detox pathway, so if it is blocked, this can put more stress on your liver and other organs.
